The Desertas Islands are a sub-archipelago of the archipelago of Madeira of volcanic origin located to the southeast of the Island of Madeira. They constitute the Desertas Islands Natural Reserve, also classified as a biogenetic reserve by the Council of Europe. The nature reserve protects species like the Lobo Marinho and the Bugio Nun. Count on the possibility of observing cetaceans throughout the trip.
